【創(chuàng)建源起】[Origin of Establishment]
當(dāng)前各類設(shè)計獎項繁多，公信力、專業(yè)性、權(quán)威性日益下降。創(chuàng)建中國自己的“紅點獎”、“普利茲克獎”，已成為設(shè)計界的共識。
Today there’re plenty varieties of design awards, so credibility, specialty and authority have become increasingly declined. Hence, to create China’s own “Red Dot Award” and “Pulitzer Prize” has become the consensus in the design circle.
因5只貓設(shè)計新聞網(wǎng)一向宣導(dǎo)設(shè)計的先鋒性和公信力，通過與國際設(shè)計界有代表性的設(shè)計名師的溝通合議，由5只貓召集，創(chuàng)立“全球先鋒設(shè)計大獎”別具意義，該獎項將在全球範(fàn)圍內(nèi)選拔當(dāng)年度“先鋒設(shè)計”作品，激發(fā)和鼓勵那些熱愛設(shè)計、持之以恆并富有才華的優(yōu)異設(shè)計師。
Since 5 Cats Design News Network always promotes pioneer spirit and credibility, it’s very meaningful for 5 Cats to convene and establish the “Global Pioneer Design Awards” through communication and discussion with the representative world renowned designers of the international design circle. This award will selec annual “Pioneer Design” works on a global scale to inspire and encourage those outstanding designers, who love design, persevere in their careers and are talented.
由于本次獎項是在中國設(shè)立，因此獎項命名為“全球先鋒設(shè)計(中國)大獎”，從中國出發(fā)，隨著日后逐步發(fā)展，將逐漸擴(kuò)展為從世界範(fàn)圍內(nèi)甄選出優(yōu)秀設(shè)計。
This award is named “Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards” because it’s established in China. It will start from China and extend to selec excellent designs all over the world along with its gradual development in the future.

本獎項旨在于全球範(fàn)圍內(nèi)，甄選當(dāng)年度最具先鋒價值的設(shè)計杰作，樹立具先進(jìn)理念設(shè)計之典範(fàn)，引導(dǎo)國際設(shè)計潮流之方向，探索與創(chuàng)新當(dāng)代的設(shè)計事業(yè)態(tài)勢。
This award is aimed at selecting the annual design masterpieces with most pioneering value from all over the world, set design examples with advanced concepts, guide the international design trends, explore and innovate the situation of design career in the present age.

聚焦國際視點，表彰世界各地頂尖設(shè)計對社會所作貢獻(xiàn)，表彰以突出的設(shè)計實力而成為業(yè)界翹楚之名師，同時為其提供高端交流平臺及促進(jìn)藝術(shù)成長與提升商業(yè)價值的契機(jī)。
It means to focus on the international viewpoints, commend the contributions the top designs did to the society and the designers who became famous because of their outstanding design strength, and to provide a high-end communication platform and opportunity to promote the growth of art and enhance the commercial value for the designers in the mean time.
全球先鋒設(shè)計大獎尤其彰顯設(shè)計的探索性、實踐性及理念的創(chuàng)新，引領(lǐng)新的生活方式，從而推動設(shè)計行業(yè)的進(jìn)步。
Global Pioneer Design Awards will particularly manifest the exploratory and practicality of designs and innovation of concept. It will lead the new way of life; thereby promote the progress of design industry.

由香港註冊的協(xié)會——全球先鋒設(shè)計協(xié)會(Certificate No.HK.60777754-001-12-12-2)發(fā)起，旨在全球範(fàn)圍內(nèi)激勵和表彰富有優(yōu)異才華的頂尖設(shè)計和先鋒設(shè)計的一項國際賽事。該獎項由5只貓設(shè)計新聞網(wǎng)為主體，成立全球先鋒設(shè)計(中國)大獎組委會與評審委員會。
It’s initiated by Global Pioneer Design Association, an association registered in Hong Kong. And it is an international event which is aimed at encouraging and commending top designs and pioneering designs with great talent on a global scale. The organizing committee and review committee of Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards are established with 5 Cats Design News Network as its main body.

Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards Organizing Committee: composed of specially invited well-known figures in the design industry with 5 Cats Design News Network as its main body. It’s responsible for soliciting contributions, disseminating information, liaison, financial affairs and preliminary assessment of Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards.
Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards Review Committee: composed of specially invited famous design experts in the international design industry with 5 Cats Design News Network as its main body and executed by Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards Organizing Committee. It’s responsible for the final review, adding up and publishing of the name list of Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards.

【評選流程】[Selection Process]
?、賲⒃u：報名參賽的截止日期是2014年6月30日;
?、?Entering competition: the closing date for entries is June 30st, 2014;
?、谠u審：2014年7月1日—8月31日，由全球先鋒設(shè)計(中國)大獎組委會將參賽作品以電郵形式提交至各國家的評審專家，每個評委根據(jù)參賽作品的設(shè)計水準(zhǔn)進(jìn)行評審打分，滿分為10分，由高分到低分，產(chǎn)生獲獎名單;
?、?Review: Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards Organizing Committee will submit the entries to the review experts in different countries by email from July 1st, 2014 to August 31st, 2014. Each judge will review and score the entries according to the design levels. The full marks are 10 points. The award-winners will be selected according to the scores;
③2014年9月19日，5只貓(http://www.5cats.cc)公佈獲獎名單。
?、?5 Cats (http://www.5cats.cc) will publish the Name List of Award-winners on September 19th, 2014.
【普遍規(guī)則】[General Rule]
寧缺毋濫。
因此，在各設(shè)計獎項類別的專業(yè)評委認(rèn)為該獎項不具備獲得該獎項的專業(yè)資格時，如：金獎、銀獎、銅獎，以及年度優(yōu)異設(shè)計師獎時，則該獎項可出現(xiàn)空缺;以上情況，是全球先鋒設(shè)計(中國)大獎組委會視為可以允許出現(xiàn)的狀況。
Rather go without than have something shoddy.
Therefore, if the professional judges of each design category think this award didn’t reach the professional level of this award, such as gold award, silver award, bronze award, or annual excellent designer award, this award may be vacant; Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards Organizing Committee regard the situation above as a possible condition.

【頒獎事項】[Award Presentation Matters]
本次賽事不舉辦集體形式的頒獎典禮;
There will not be an award presentation ceremony of collective form for this event;
大獎組委會將負(fù)責(zé)快遞獲獎證書予參賽者;
The Awards Organizing Committee will be responsible for sending the award certificates to the contestants by express delivery;
年度優(yōu)異設(shè)計師獎獲獎?wù)邔@得一枚獎盤;
The winner of Annual Excellent Designer will get a medal;
大獎組委會將護(hù)送此枚獎?wù)轮聊甓葍?yōu)異設(shè)計師獎獲得者的設(shè)計公司進(jìn)行頒授?；蚋鶕?jù)獲獎?wù)咛嶙h的接受獎項頒授儀式地點的意愿，如選擇在自己獲獎設(shè)計專案的現(xiàn)場或其他富有紀(jì)念意義的場地等，頒獎地點由獲獎?wù)咴?0月19日前提交至全球先鋒設(shè)計獎組委會審批，之后予以頒授。
The Awards Organizing Committee will escort this medal to the design company of the winner and award it there or another place the winner chooses, such as the site of the award-winning design project or other memorable places. The award-winner shall submit the award presentation place to Global Pioneer Design (China) Awards Organizing Committee for approval before October 19th and the medal will be awarded after that.
